Göritzhainer Maschinenfabrikのルーツは、1970年代初頭、カール・フリードリッヒ・マチャンがアウグスブルクでコンベヤ技術の分野で起業したことにさかのぼる。1993年、会社はルンツェナウに移転。

2022年からは息子のユルゲン・マチャンが家業を継いでいる。
