当社は1928年にヴィルヘルム・アイカー氏によって設立され、主に世界各国に輸出される特殊ナイフの生産を行っていました。
1946年、創業者の息子であるハインツ・アイッカーが入社した。60年来のオーナーである。彼の指揮の下、国内およびヨーロッパでのビジネスが拡大された。
1972年、経営規模を拡大。息子のトーマス・アイカーは、研修と勉強を終えて入社した。彼は、さらなる輸出の拡大を主眼に置いていた。EICKER-MESSER」の文字が入った、今では世界的に有名な地球儀のロゴを新たに開発した。

Fordura Germany was created in Radebeul in 1982, by Forrest Brothers (J. Forrest and H. Forrest) with name of Forrest Brothers Manufacturing GmbH in their small family workshop, which actually was a car garage.
We changed our company name to: FORDURA Recycling Tools Germany GmbH. In the year of 1995, the company name changed into Fordura Recycling Tools Germany GmbH, setting the foundation for the Fordura Group. Over the years, Fordura has become one of the world’s leading blades & knives manufacturers in this market, and our blades are widely applied to renewable recycling resources in plastic, tire, rubber, metal, e-waste, MSW, textile, packaging, paper and wood, like shredder blades & knives, granulator blades, wood chipper blades, hydraulic shear knives etc.
