그의 이름을 따서 라이프치히에 있는 Excelsior 공장인 루돌프 키세에터(Rudolf Kiesewetter)는 1908년에 독일에 첫 측량 공장을 세웠다. 1942년에 공장은 파괴되었지만 전쟁이 끝난 후 엄청나게 많은 노력을 기울여 재건되었다.
