TQS-uzun bir geleneği olan genç bir şirket
1910 yılında Deutsch-Englische-Quarzschmelze GmbH adıyla Berlin'de kuruldu. Esas olarak o zamanlar genç ve müreffeh kimya endüstrisinde çeşitli uygulamalar için erimiş silika ürünleri üretti.
1957 yılında şirket Mainz'a taşındı ve 1965 yılına kadar TSL-Thermal Syndicate Limited (İngiltere) ve Jenaer Glaswerke Schott+Genossen (Almanya) ortak girişimi olarak yönetildi.
1965 yılında, aynı zamanda TSL Group'un bir holly yan kuruluşu olan şirket, merkezini Wiesbaden'e taşıdı ve o zamandan beri TQS-Thermal Quarz-Schmelze GmbH adı altında faaliyet gösteriyor.
