Robust Encoder

A special feature of our company is the ROBUST ENCODER SYSTEM AWG / AWS.
It has been specially developed for use in special environments, such as in heavy industry, steel mills, mines, cranes, in ship and lock building and in the chemical and food processing industries. All housing parts, flange, cap, tube housing with 5 mm wall thickness are made of stainless steel. The shaft load is up to 1,500 N. The installation dimensions of the system are compatible to the known encoders. Both extreme temperatures from -40°C to +200°C and exposure to dirt, water, alkalis and acids are not a problem. The protection class is IP 67. Because of the wide variety of options and accessories, use in pretty much any area is possible especially food-authentic customs application.
In the AWG-housings can be built-in both incremental encoder and absolute encoder with SSI interface and all fieldbus connections (CAN-BUS, PROFIBUS, ETHERNET Powerlink, INTERBUS). We also manufacture the ROBUST ENCODER SYSTEM AWG as a redundant encoder system with double or triple encoder, in the combination of digital and analog encoders.
The area of application for the ROBUST ENCODER AWG 102 with through shaft is the transmission of the rotational movement to already mounted ROBUST ENCODER Systems, limit switch, cam switches, speedometers or other devices that receive rotary motion.
