Interferometric measuring systems for non-contact flatness measurement of finish-machined parts.
TOPOS interferometers operate according to the principle of grazing incidence of light. The flatness of also rougher parts can be measured, which show no more fringe pattern with optical flats or Fizeau-interferometers. Next to lapped or ground parts also polished parts can be measured.
Teknik BilgilerThe absolute accuracy is up to 0.1µm over the entire measurement area The time of measurement takes less than 2 seconds Due to the non-contact process, the measurement instruments can be applied in the 100% control Due to the extension by a cross- or rotary table it is possile to measure parts with an outer diameter of 620mm
By default, TOPOS flatness measuring instruments are available with two different sizes of measuring field: with a diameter of 100mm or 50m. An adaptation towards special sizes is possible according to request.

Devamını oku SIOS Meßtechnik GmbH specializes in the development and manufacture of high-precision measurement instruments. The company was founded in 1991 by Professor Jäger and employees of the Institute of Process Measurement and Sensor Technology at the Technical University of Ilmenau.
From the beginning there was a close scientific and technical cooperation between the SIOS Meßtechnik GmbH and the institute. That formed the basis for the development and manufacture of innovative products of the precision measurement technology, especially in the field of laser interferometry. Today, the cooperation between the Institute for Process Measurement and Sensor Technology and SIOS is continued for the benefit of both partners.
Scientific relationships exist with many other partners from academia and institutional areas. The cooperation with the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is especially appreciable.
The SIOS company started in the “Technologie- und Gründerzentrum Ilmenau” (translation: centre of technology and formation) and moved in 1993 into the own building in the business park “Am Vogelherd”.
The company is still located in this park, although the building has been expanded several times over recent years.
The company’s proximity and links to the Technical University of Ilmenau and its presence in the Technology Region Ilmenau provides solid background for our business and ensures successful future technological advances.
From the beginning the SIOS Meßtechnik GmbH has reinvested a substantial part of it´s revenue into research and development. Enabling the regular creation of new and innovative products for the market.
Today SIOS Meßtechnik GmbH is a global player. Our representations are situated in nearly 25 of the most important industrial nations and aproximatley 50% of our sales is generated overseas.
Additionally, we are proud winners of several company awards and individual colleagues have received various honours over the years, highlighting our achievements in innovation and business by our industrial and academic peers.

We have almost 100 employees who ensure that with LT Ultra (LT Ultra-Precision Technology) products, you are always one step ahead of your competitors.

In our contract production division you can get optics and tools of the highest UP quality in piece production or also in high or low volume production. At the moment we currently have around 30 of our own LT Ultra machines in use.
In addition, you can also get interferometers and UP bearings (linear systems and rotary tables) via our UP Technology division. The range is completed by our Beam Guidance division which can supply you with laser processing heads and a variety of additional components for laser processing.
