Metallisierwerk Peter Schreiber KG was established in 1923. Until the late 1940’s the company’s main business was decorative surface treatment. Starting in 1950 Peter Schreiber KG began treatment of “functional surfaces”, specializing in hard chrome plating and the mechanical treatment of hard chrome plated and metallic surfaces.
In 1988 Tfe-Lok® Peter Schreiber GmbH was founded, specializing in advanced technical solutions using its patented Tfe-Lok® -process. Today our company is one of the most efficient in this field and our expertise is useful to a variety of industries all over the world.

Our core competence is the coating of optical components for technical applications.
With innovative coating designs, we modify the physical surface properties of glasses, plastics and metals.
