A milking machine is an agricultural implement. Cows are automatically milked with a milking machine. Milking machines are available in various designs and shapes. The classic milking machines consist of 4 teat cups per machine. The teat cups are placed on the teats of a cow in agriculture. They then perform the milking process automatically. The length of the milking process is different for each cow and depends on the milk that the cow gives. However, farmers usually have to attach the teat cups of the milking machines by hand and then observe the milking process. Newer milking machines work completely via a computer, which also connects the teat cups. When milking is complete, the farmer receives a signal and can then remove the teat cups and connect them to the next cow. The milk is filtered through milk lines and fed into a cooling system. From there it is regularly collected by the dairy.Milking machines reduce the time required by farmers enormously and are used by every farmer. A milking process can take up to 10 minutes for a cow that gives a lot of milk.
