Water treatment chemicals are special chemicals that can be used to treat water in every possible way. There is a large variety of different chemicals for treating water. We would like to describe some of these water treatment chemicals here and explain to you what they are used for and what they are suitable for.An already mentioned water treatment chemical are the so-called algicides. These are water treatment chemicals that can be used to destroy the green and blue ones. All you have to do is add the chemical to the water and the algae are destroyed. Well-known algicides include copper sulphate and iron salts. The problem with the aligicides is this: Although they kill the algae, they do not destroy the toxins they secrete after they die. It is therefore questionable for what purpose these water treatment chemicals can be used. One conceivable application, however, would be a natural outdoor swimming pool that is operated without chlorine.Other known water chemicals are, for example, the defoamers. Defoamers are used to accelerate the process of foam decay. Some of these agents are used in industry so that foam formation can be controlled in various operations.
