Buildings are often simply called houses. They are closed and covered buildings that can be entered by people and/or are suitable for protecting people, property or animals. In today's society there are countless different types of buildings with a wide variety of functions. The residential building is probably the most frequently occurring building. Here people find peace and relaxation after work, cook delicious meals and lie down in their bed to sleep in. Residential buildings can usually only be opened with a key, so that access is restricted directly to the residents of the house, but this access door can be opened by the residents at any time for visitors or the like. As the name implies, public buildings are accessible to all people as long as they are open. A supermarket, for example, is also a building, but with the special function of selling food and commodities. A military building serves the training of soldiers and the protection of the population. A prison is also a building that serves a specific purpose. Buildings and houses can be found everywhere in society. In Germany there are very strict laws for the construction of a building, so that only specialists can and may erect a building.
