gypsum board is very common and widespread as a building material in the construction industry. In most cases it is applied in the form of plasterboard . These often have a cardboard cover on both sides. The most common areas of application are drywall and acoustic construction. The cardboard stabilizers on both sides strengthen the plasterboards and are responsible for absorbing all tensile forces. Another variant would be plasterboards, or gypsum wallboards. The majority of these consist only of stucco. Their typical thickness is 60 to 100 mm. All plasterboard variants are usually equipped with all-round tongue and groove systems.
