Door frames are also known as door frames or door linings. This concerns the fixed part of a door. Differs from moving components such as door leaf or door leaf. A frame serves to cover the surrounding edges of the corresponding wall openings. This covering is partial or complete, depending on the frame type. When completely covered, it is said to be flush with the wall plaster. However, it often stands above this threshold. A threshold is usually located on the lower side of the frame as a stiffening element.
