marble in Stronie Slaskie Wies situated on a mountain Chlopek
Nowadays we exploit the mines of sandstone in Dlugopole Gorne the borough of Medzylesie.
The next stage od the process takes place in our stonework in Szkalry Huta near Zabkowice Slaskie
There the stone blocks are used to make wall and floor tiles,
windowsills, stariways, facade slabs, fireplaces, garden paths, flower
pots, tables, fountains, etc.

The layered masonry Elbtaler Sandstein is extremely popular for the construction of dry stone walls.
The stone is relatively angular and has a very nice warm colour.
Optimally processed, the stones lie very close together on the visible side and produce a fine, uneven (the heights of the individual layers vary) layered masonry.
Such layered masonry is significantly more expensive than simple quarry stone such as the Ibbenbüren sandstone, as it is partly sorted by hand or machine-split.
Such bricks are usually used as dry masonry without mortar and not for free-standing walls, as the bricks would have too large tolerances in depth (wall thickness).
On slopes, walls or for raised beds, however, they are perfectly suited.
Layered masonry can also be used to permanently support heights, as an alternative to angled concrete blocks.
