Application and Advantages : The RD - 500 Reworkstation is equipped with an upper and lower hot air heating. The working zone and the components to be processed are heated in this way and only locally; an additional IR zone heater is provided to protect the PCB during processing. This heating system is particularly useful when surface components such as BGAs or CSPs, especially with lead-free solders, are used. The heating system is computer controlled and the temperature profile is controlled automatically and with high accuracy by the " AUTO - PROFILING " software.
