The Parshall Venturi Measuring flume is the optimal flow measurement for waste water in partially filled sewers. Due to the partial filling the common measuring instruments: MID, ultrasonic can only be used with great effort.
The characteristic feature of the Parshall-Channel is the bottom descent within the constriction, which forces a shooting flow condition already at smallest flow rate. This makes it the only form known to us that allows linear flow measurement at 1% of the maximum flow rate.
The Measuring manhole is a modification of the Venturi flume and is designed for easy installation in standard manholes. The glass fibre reinforced polyester resin construction ensures corrosion resistance and long service life; it connects a trapezoidal gutter section with a hood-shaped outlet and ends in a pipe connection section.
The Ultrasonic flow meter MultySonic 8000 was especially developed for the sewage measurement in open channels developed with a width of 0.2m - 50m
The ultrasonic flowmeter continuously monitors itself and the multi-channel flow.
A variety of sensor shapes and materials allows the use under high mechanical stress and in aggressive media with pH values from 3.5 to 10
