Total area of the two factories is about 156000 square meters with more than 400 sets of manufacturing machines, main machines including international advanced technology Japanese-made RGK, German-made Jager and some Chinese-made machines. Annual production capacity for stainless steel mesh is more than 10 million square meters, with range from 1 mesh to 635 mesh of square mesh and highest dutch weave 3600 mesh. The self-designed two epoxy coating production lines are the most advanced epoxy mesh coating equipment in Asia, its annual output is more than 13 million square meters and it makes YKM to be the R&D and supply center for epoxy mesh.
YKM's main products are stainless steel wire mesh,epoxy coated wire mesh,nickel wire mesh, copper wire mesh, low-carbon steel wire mesh and all kinds of mesh further-processing products. Total 6 series, about thousand types of products, widely applied for petrochemical, aeronautics and astronautics, food, pharmacy, environmental protection, new energy, automotive and electronic industry.
In 2003, YKM has received the ISO9001 management system certification, then the TS16949 management system certification in 2015. Both systems are effectively implemented in the entire company. The concept and awareness of quality management are integrated into every detail in the whole production.

Since it was founded in 2005 - as a German sister company of the Dutch Horrichs Apparatenbouw BV and Holland Filter BV - UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has combined the knowledge and experience of these two traditional companies.
The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.
Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Within the food industry, UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has acquired knowledge in the field of production of various apparatuses and internal transport systems.
Of course, these devices are also made of stainless steel. From the food industry we have been able to gain experience in the field of stainless steel industry as well as in other branches of industry.

Filter Type W is a very economical strainer:
Its pressure loss is only 50% in comparison to conventional pot / basket strainers and only 25% in comparison to Y-Filters of same dimension and sieve mesh.
This advantage reduces the cost of pump energy and result in extended reserves until the cleaning cycle. Connectors for the differential pressure are standard from size DN 150 and above (below upon request possible).
The streamlined angle of impact between the flow and the sieve / screen results in a slowly increasing pressure loss, caused by dirt, and at least more than double the operational time before cleaning.
As the cleaning cover is located at the top, the rare cleaning cycle is easily and conveniently carried out. The sieve is a closed basket and simultaneously serves the complete removal of the dirt – hence the remaining medium is already cleaned and can be just drained.
Traditional pot or basket strainers are limited by their horizontal installation in pipelines.
In the past, the option to utilise a strainer also in vertical mounting was only provided by Y-Filters – with its given disadvantages of high flow resistance and inconvenient handling of the cover for removal of the sieve (net weight of the cover, overhead work).
The Filter Type W, however, can be installed in both ways – with its given advantages in regards to minimal pressure losses and low frequency of maintenance.
In addition, equipping the Filter Type W with swivel (horizontal) or swing arm (vertikal) provides the maintenance personnel easier handling of the cover and a crane-independent removal of the sieve – with the dirt for cleaning.

Cleaning of the flowing medium.
These two primary tasks are valid in all areas of application – regardless whether the media are:
- Hot water (district heating systems)
- Cold water (Cooling Systems, municipal applications)
- Hydrocarbons (pumping of oil, petroleum, LNG/LPG)
- Acids or alkalis (chemical plants).
Generally, these tasks are fulfilled by all commercially available filter types, however with high energy requirement and frequent maintenance intervals. Additional cost for shutdown and cleaning could also be reduced.
