ACO Eurobar® is the registered trademark for our high quality continuously cast material developed in co-operation with the hydraulics industry. It satisfies the highest demands in this sector.
Its main characteristic is the high leak-proofness to liquids and gases. On the production side, the clean, sand-free surface and the fine-grained uniform structure, mean much less tool wear and much faster processing times.

ACO Eurobar® is produced in circular diameters of 30 to 400 mm and rectangular cross-sections of 50 x 50 to 280 x 280 mm. Rectangular profiles and various grey cast iron and ductile iron alloys are produced in accordance with customer specifications.
With our permanently replenished stock of continuous casting in various grades and dimensions, backed up by our sophisticated logistics system, our customers know that they can receive supplies within the shortest possible time.

The ACO Eurobar warehouse has a permanent stock of 3000 to 4000 tons of raw material in round and square dimensions in the materials GG-FP, GGG-40/50, GGG-50 and GGG-60. In addition, materials such as GGG-40.3 and GGG-70 can be produced on request, and the materials GG-FP can be converted into GG-F and GGG-40/50 into GGG-40 by ferritic annealing.

The metal is continuously fed into a Hazelett-Caster via an electrically heated row of furnaces consisting of deslagging, storage and casting furnace. Thanks to the induction furnace concept, the casting temperature can be kept exactly within a range of 1130 to 1135°C.
The cast strand thus produced runs over a 5-stand roughing mill into a 7-stand finishing mill. Due to the equipment with individual drives for all rollers, the line has a high flexibility in format changeover and allows highest quality - rolling is almost tension-free. Thanks to its own wire drawing shop, MKM is able to apply a comprehensive quality concept from cathode to fine wire, thus offering the customer outstanding quality at all stages of the value chain.
