Synthetic top slags.
Standard mixtures or, depending on the requirement profile of the steel and the customer's wishes, a mechanical mixture of the necessary components such as CaO, MgO, Al2O3, SiO2 ,is produced.

Application

Secondary metallurgy is carried out in special facilities such as ladle furnace, VD, VOD using a metallurgically active slag. The renewal of the slag after tapping with the aid of a synthetic top slag supports desulphurization and deoxidation, increases the degree of purity and reduces heat losses and reoxidation of the melt.

Slag brick: EOS is created during steel production in the smelting furnace and is processed in several steps to become a
high-quality recycled building material. Because EOS has a rock-like consistency, the material
is recognized as a gravel substitute. Due to its physical properties
it is ideally suited for use in civil engineering. EOS is particularly appreciated in wet seasons
because the material is easy to install and drive on, even under difficult conditions.
