In our Web-Shop you can get Bonded Seals in 25 different, usual, metric sizes (M3 to M48), as well as also 12 typical inch-sizes (1/8" up to 3"), type self-centering (USF), captive. MOQ is 10, 5 or 1 pc depending on size.
Steel: mild steel, zinc Cr+3 coated (CrVI free), or if available stainless steel V4A, AISI 316.
Rubber: NBR 80+/- 5° Shore A, black,
(Nitril rubber, well resistant against oil and gasoline, temperature limits -30 till +100°C)
Some items also FKM (Viton) and EPDM 80+/- 5° Shore A, black,
(Fluorcarbon rubber, well resistant against oil and gasoline, ozone, UV-Light, temperature limits -20 till +200°C)

Floating oil seals were also know as Mechanical face seals or floating seal group which were initially designed to provide solutions to mechanical transmissions that operate in harsh environments under extremestresses from dust, sand, mud, stones and earth. Besides the classic applicationin running gear rollers of tracked vehicles, this seal concept is now in use wherever bearings have to be protected against abrasive media. It is superiorto all other forms of sealing based on radial or axial seals owing to its smallspace requirement, simple construction and wear resistance.
