A heat engine is a machine, also called a power converter, which is operated with heat and converts the energy, i.e. heat, into a mechanically usable energy. A thermal engine releases a driving force. This is done by the heat engine releasing the process power generated by the heat material and transferring it to another pulse current or three-phase pulse current. The heat material is often referred to as entropy, the impulse current as power.The heat engines include combustion engines as well as steam and gas turbines. Both the petrol and diesel engines and the Stirling engine burn the fuel cyclically in their own combustion chambers. Gas turbines, steam turbines as well as the Stirling engine burn fuel continuously, but outside and they transfer the heat through a medium. Further examples for combustion engines are steam engines, steam turbines as well as hot air machines. The energy current generated at the angular momentum is also known as the power of the torque. Heat engines are used in many different ways and they are of great importance in industry.
