Our technical fabrics or heat protection fabrics are excellent materials for thermal and sound insulation in the high temperature range. These are woven from specially air textured or smooth yarns and treated with special coating types. Optionally, our fabrics can be supplied with aluminium sheeting, V4A wire reinforcement or silicone coating. Typical areas of application are active welding protection, for protection against sparks and welding spatter, in metal processing for covering or depositing hot castings, as heat reflection curtains, protective covers for heat-sensitive workpieces, components or machines and as starting material for heat protection and insulation systems.

Industrial applications with temperature-related solution requirements up to 1600 °C

Silicate textiles are very resistant against corrosion and chemicals. They are insulating excellent electrically and remain flexible and soft to touch even after use in high temperature.
Except these excellent characteristics, silica textiles have a perfect resistance to thermal shock.
They resist to fluid Aluminium and to molten metal (steel) splashing, as well as to the direct flame impact.
Silica textiles are often used for filtration of fluid iron.
