The production facility is sited within the head office in Betzigau, Germany. Since its foundation in 1977, the UWT GmbH product portfolio has developed and refined to provide solutions for a wide range of industries. Industries such as the food industry, plastic applications, cement plants, chemical industry, wood and rubber sector, environmental plants, power plants, etc. The company is ISO 9001: 2015 certified. UWT continually expands its portfolio of product certifications with particular regard to international markets. Features such as universal voltage or the hygiene approval "EHEDG" as well as specialised solutions allow UWT to effectively solve difficult applications in the entire bulk material handling industry. A recent new product development is the RFnivo® 3000. This is a capacitive level switch which allows through its many variations, custom made solutions for all bulk materials applications. The simple commissioning with automatic calibration is particularly user-friendly.
