Monitors are devices that usually display digital data in a way that people can see graphically and thus enable them to work on the computer. There are many different types of monitors that differ in appearance and size. Most monitors are used in conjunction with computers. The two devices are connected via a cable so that they are optimally matched to each other. Nowadays, so-called FTP flat screens dominate the monitor market because, in addition to their elegant appearance, they are extremely space-saving and fit on any desk. They are available in many different colours so that the right monitor for every taste can be found. There is also plenty of room on the desk for other items that are needed in the office or in private life. For professional players, however, a traditional screen is better because an FTP flat screen has a small delay that can be critical in strategy games such as Warcraft or Starcraft. However, these delays are not noticeable in the normal use of a monitor, so buying an FTP monitor is by no means a bad investment. Laptops and netbooks have built-in monitors that cannot be separated from the rest of the construction. These are optimally suited for transport and are also optimally protected against dirt, dust and other external influences when folded in.
