Another advantage is that the keyboard is not always available, but only when it is needed, for example, in text fields.Typical, recent developments of this technology are the smartphones, above all the I-Phone, and the tablet PCs, above all the I-Pad. But the principle of the touch monitor is also used in many other areas. For example, new cash registers no longer use simple keyboards, but only a screen in which all POS-specific information is displayed, as well as the input digits for the cash register.
