We are an innovative company with 20 employees in the middle of the Swiss Alps, which develops and manufactures plants and apparatus for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. In a well-rehearsed and young team we develop new technologies, plan and build solutions for the everyday and non-everyday problems of our customers. Our focus is on bulk solids technology and container processing, but individual special applications are also part of our daily business.

From planning to assembly, maintenance and repair - this is "one-stop" expertise that stands the test of time. The spectrum of customers ranges from small and medium-sized businesses to internationally active companies. Another LATTNER GmbH site is located in Slovakia.

Handling systems are devices that help to rationalise the internal material flow. They serve in particular to relieve people working in production of heavy physical work. These are usually activities in which larger or heavier objects have to be lifted from one workstation to the next destination within the production process or moved to a different position. They help, for example, to remove stamped parts from presses or to swivel components into larger structures. In automotive engineering, for example, the windscreens are lifted by suction cup devices, swivelled over their determination position and adjusted by the skilled workers.Handling systems, also called handling systems, always require the manual assistance and/or operation of people. These include crane-like slewing and lifting aids mounted on masts, which are manually brought into the desired position, or relief mechanisms for handling heavy tools (spray guns, staplers, etc.) To distinguish them from handling systems are industrial robots which operate independently according to program instructions, i.e. do not require human handling, and industrial trucks (forklifts, lift trucks, etc.), which also accelerate the internal material flow but are clearly part of transport and storage work.
