The collective term "loading facilities" refers to a multitude of technical devices with which goods of various types can be loaded or transhipped.For example, bulk goods, liquids, parcels or even entire containers can be loaded according to the type of equipment in question.The layman is probably the most common term for a loading ramp when it comes to loading facilities. A loading ramp can be fixed (bricked or cemented) or mobile. (example airport) It can connect two different heights by a certain degree of inclination or also run at a constant height. A crane is also a typical loading facility and transports the goods either from bottom to top or vis versa. A crane can be operated manually, but in the majority of cases motorised and is able to transport the goods over a considerable height. In addition, it can be swivelled and thus also used in a direction-determined manner.The loading systems also include so-called"industrial trucks" such as forklifts or even lift trucks. A "trolley" is not only known as a mobile crane unit, but can also be found on ceiling beams of production halls and moves the load by means of a chain hoist on the beam.Finally one still knows the truly gigantic container gantry cranes, which are used at sea ports for the loading of ship containers and which of course also belong to the loading systems.
