Show more Magnetic level gauges are mounted to the boiler where the measurement of the liquid level is desired, with different connection methods. As the liquid in the boiler rises and falls, the float in the by-pass tube also rises and falls due to the principle of combined vessels. With this movement of the float, the double-colored magnetic discs arranged in the aluminum profile outside the by-pass tube rotate around itself. The magnet inside the float is aligned with the liquid level according to the immersion depth of the float. Thus, the double-colored magnetic profile discs, on which the float changes colors, can show its level exactly
and perfectly. The magnetic profile discs turn red as the float rises, and white as the float descends. Thus, the level of the liquid in the boilers is observed most accurately.

The level probe of Zila PS1 is suitable for level measurement in a measuring range (relatively) from 1 meter water column or water level. The probe works up to 250m depth and can be equipped for aggressive media with a platinum membrane.

The selected measuring method meets highest requirements with regard to resolution and reproducibility. The combination of the high mechanical stress resistant membrane and the stainless steel (material No. 1.4571) or PTFE case offers excellent chemical resistance to a large number of aggressive materials to be measured. The output signal has a minimum current of 4 mA allowing the current circuit to be easily monitored for cable breakage
Versatile, uncomplicated and economical
- A wide spectrum of measuring ranges and electrical connections, as well as a large number of process connections guarantee variant versatility allowing individual adaptation to every application. Simultaneous measurement of filling level and temperature can optionally be accomplished by using a Pt 100 temperature probe. Costs can be minimized by easier installation and start-up .
