Gloss is measured by reflection of a light beam that shines on a surface. The determination is made by the ratio of the strength of the reflecting light from the point of impact of the light beam on an internal plate from which the light beam is reflected. For the measurement of gloss, gloss meters with selectable angles of incidence are particularly suitable. Therefore we offer our customers in the ATP - Onlineshop for measurement technology gloss meters, where you can adjust at least 2 angles. The two different angles provide the greatest accuracy. The 60° angle is for measuring matt to high gloss, the 20° angle is for measuring high gloss.
