With the new MAPAL UNISCALE-M, lengths, angles and
radii on any type of drills, milling cutters and reamers can be measured
and checked. Due to the combination of excellent individual components,
the UNISCALE-M achieves optimum results and guarantees easy handling.
Using a high-resolution camera, for example face geometries, peripheral
geometries or step lengths on solid carbide drills, solid carbide
milling cutters or solid carbide reamers can be measured on the MAPAL
UNISCALE-M with the aid of user-friendly software. Coating thicknesses
can also be measured quickly and conveniently using the UNISCALE-M. In
addition, it is also possible to analyse and view surface details on the
tool. As a result tool wear can be reliably and economically
identified.
The new UNISCALE-M is excellently suited to use in
the areas of goods receipt inspection, intermediate production
inspection, as well as final inspection. With the aid of the UNISCALE-M
it is possible to prevent defective tools entering the value chain and
to prevent the delivery of defective tools. The new UNISCALE-M can also
be used in a tool regrinding service.
