Robot cell for the assembly of a structural component for a large-series vehicle The robot feeds the structural component to the assembly machine, which then screws in mounting brackets. A diffuse sensor with background suppression sets up the exact XY position with a repeat accuracy of ±0.5 mm. The inductive sensor additionally detects the Z-position of the workpiece.
