Bulk or continuous scales are automatic scales which are frequently used for receiving and loading, for dosing within process chains up to bagging solutions for free-flowing bulk materials.
These electromechanical bulk scales consist of a weighing container suspended on load cells, which is filled to the target weight via a dosing device and then emptied via pneumatically operated bottom flaps.
In combination with modern weighing electronics (e.g. Systec-ITxE series or Siemens-SIWAREX) a high performance with high accuracy and legal for trade is achieved.

As a net discharge scale above filling machines, for receiving and discharging or as a checkweigher in almost all areas where loose bulk materials are processed or stored, for example in mills and storage facilities, in animal feed plants, in breweries, in sugar factories, in fertilizer plants, in the chemical industry, in the production of plastic granulates. The different flow and conveying properties of the products to be weighed determine the selection of the dosing device that is to dose the product in coarse and fine flow into the weighing hopper.
