Mixing scales are container, tank or silo scales and are used to monitor and control mixtures in large containers. For this purpose, the tank is usually placed on 3-4 load cells and the measurement result is evaluated via a weighing terminal or a connected process control and the mixing process is adjusted accordingly.
Another type of mixing scale is the paint mixing scale. These scales are used for mixing their products in companies that produce lacquers and paints. They have special paint mixing programs that make this work easier. Often the construction of a tabletop scale with a stand for the display is recommended to prevent soiling. Depending on the requirements of the operation, an explosion-proof version can also be used.
