Powder is a variant of bulk material which is difficult to handle. We differentiate between lumping, bridging and well flowing to shooting materials.
Dosing - whether into a process or into a bagging solution - can usually only be done with screws or belts.
For all powdery materials, it is important to observe the combustibility of the dusts that occur - i.e. the explosion protection /ATEX requirements.
