Basically, the concept of feed systems can be used in different ways and can also be interpreted in different ways. It is therefore important to know how and for what purpose the feed systems are to be used in a particular case. On the one hand, a feed always describes a feed speed, but in order to achieve this, special feed systems must of course be used again for this special feed movement. On the other hand, this term describes special systems for a roll movement in the sense of a roll feed or for a cutting movement. Only when this question has been clearly clarified can the concept of a feed system be interpreted. Another conceivable possibility would be to see special technical aids in the feed systems, which are used in bridge construction or other large-format objects in order to move parts in the same direction at the same time and still keep them at the same height or at the same distance. In the sense of bridge or plant construction, however, one will always interpret it in terms of a roll feed. The feed systems consist of various rollers and roller systems, which are specifically referred to as guide rollers, top rollers and bottom rollers. Furthermore, these roller systems have an integrated pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder as well as an electrical control system for operation. Furthermore, the systems have a sensor for the operating stage monitoring.
