The GV-HM straight-line carton sealer is a high-performance three-side carton sealer for folding in the lids of filled hinged lid cartons and for automatically closing the front flap and the two side flaps by means of adhesive closure. Folding carton made of uncoated cardboard (hotmelt version) in various qualities and folding carton designs can be processed.
The carton flow is straight-line, with continuous operation and precise forming at highest outputs. The flap-lid boxes fed at irregular intervals enter the machine and are brought to the required pitch by driverless belt belts driven by frequency-controlled gear motors. First the lid is folded around by a lid diverter. A hot melt track is then applied to the front of the carton. The front flap is folded over and pressed together with the glued box front wall in a continuous process. In a turning station the box is turned by 90°, then the glue is applied to the narrow sides of the box and the side flaps are folded and pressed. A central adjustment device and parameterizable format programs (for speeds) ensure high flexibility and shortest format changeover times (approx. 10 min./1 person).
