The machine ATM 16-25 is a multiple dereeling unit with a component group of 16 individual dereelers. Every dereeler operates as an autark system. Thus, up to 16 individual wires can be combined in a compartment and dereeled (number of individual wires of compartment is at customer’s discretion).
A constant wire traction force is realised by means of a spring-load dancer system and an electronically regulated brake system. As regulating brakes, hysteresis brakes are used. The dancer position is registered optoelectronically (optical sensor, distance measurement) and indicated to the brake regulation system which generates the respective brake current.
The controlled brake system enables high spooling speeds with sufficient spooling quality (tested with „Catenary Test“, also see technical data).
In case of wire rupture or end of wire, a fast stop is activated with a wire break control (all dereeling units in use are stopped)
An „EMERGENCY STOP“ is effected by means of a permanent magnet brake.
