In order to guarantee additional protection for already existing inventory, additional covers can provide valuable services. However, for a high degree of protection against moisture, dust or similar, the most precise cutting possible is required so that no area remains uncovered.

The design drawing shown here symbolises a typical customer order. A series of cable cover plates in different dimensions were required for an injection moulding tool. From the existing three-dimensional drawing of the injection moulding tool, the required information - maximum permissible diameter, length etc. - was derived. - extracted and saved in the form of individual files in STP format as a template.
The files were then simply uploaded via the geersCUTTING web shop, checked for consistency and sent to the customer again for confirmation with details of price and production period. After the offer was accepted, the production process finally began. The result was precisely fitting cable cover plates made of two millimetre thin aluminium - without time-consuming preparation of drawings and with a short production time.
