Nickel-based alloys are more resistant to corrosion and high temperature and may have special physical properties such as electrical resistance, controlled thermal expansion, special magnetic characteristics, etc.
This group of materials is divided into the following main categories: nickel-copper, nickel-iron, nickel-iron-chromium, nickel-chromium, nickel-molybdenum-chromium, nickel-chromium-cobalt, low alloy nickel alloys (with a nickel proportion of up to 70 %) and multi-material alloys.
