Steel grade with emphasis on cold work, high toughness (nickel content), good through hardenability (uniform hardness acceptance for large cross-sections) and high impact strength and compressive strength. Well polishable, etchable and erodible. If special purity and homogeneity are required, we recommend using the ESU grade.
