Our company
The company was founded in 1963 when Leopold Weinlich received an order of the Schnellpressenfabrik Heidelberg AG (now Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG) for the development of a numerical control for a milling machine.

Our present field of activity:

Our products include winding machines, automated tinning machines, monitoring and metering devices, automated packaging machines and complete production lines.
Machines are produced to individual order. We can also retrofit used machines.
Thanks to a history of cooperation with many companies with different business profiles we have an extensive experience in mechanical and automation design as well as production and implementation of machines on industrial sites.
We have implemented and operate EN ISO 9001:2000 compliant quality management system for the design and production of machines.

Pollux is specialized in the development, planning and setup of testing systems.
As an independent and neutral service provider we furthermore operate two testing facilities for turbochargers, combustion engines and components.
Our centrally located companies in Kirchheimbolanden (near Ludwigshafen) and Gommern (near Magdeburg) provide a good connection to the metropolitan areas of the German automotive industry.
The operation of our company-own test benches and test equipment at both testing facilities as well as concentrated development competence in the automatic control engineering is a clear benefit for our customers in both areas.
