A silicone for acrylic and polycarbonate that is a sealant and adhesive in one does not exist. - Times are changing - Now you can achieve secure adhesion even without a primer.
You need a silicone that saves you time and effort, is certified for use on acrylic and polycarbonate, and meets DIN 18545 and ISO 11600 F&GG 25 LM standards.With Plexoseal, we can offer you a neutral-curing, pure silicone sealant and adhesive that has been specially developed for glazing made of PMMA (acrylic glass) and PC (polycarbonate). Thanks to its new crosslinking system, Plexoseal adheres much more strongly to plastics but also to aluminum or wood, for example, and makes the use of primers unnecessary. Plexoseal has certificates from Evonik/Rohm for Plexiglas applications and EMP for Macrolux polycarbonate.
