This line of MEGATRONS can be equipped to provide high, medium or low shear rates. This is accomplished through use of the correct combination of our dispersion generators which are offered in either coarse, medium, fine or superfine configurations. The shear rate and tip speed effect on the final particle size are taken into account when designating which generator configurations will provide the desired final particle size.
Each of these units has a working chamber that can accommodate up to 3 different generator configurations which means that often times a single pass will produce the desired result. If not, the product must be recirculated for a number of passes which are kept to a minimum due to the multi-stage design. Single, double or three stage designs are possible.
