We are DrM

DrM, Dr. Mueller AG was founded in 1982 by Dr. Hans Mueller (1913-1984), a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. It is the legacy of this brilliant industrial entrepreneur and creative inventor, whose influence lives on in the chemical process industry. His boundless ingenuity was reflected in more than four hundred inventions for which patents were granted during his academic and industrial career. Several of these revolutionized chemical processes in numerous countries.
DrM is still privately owned and managed by highly skilled technical and creative professionals. Our primary goal is to find and develop solid-liquid separation solutions that help us live in a cleaner environment while creating significant financial benefits for our customers. Areas of application

In numerous industrial processes the hall air is contaminated by oil mist, oil smoke and emulsion mist or other pollutants. This particle formation results from a mechanical working process, such as spinning or dispersion, as well as from fast rotating tools. If the oil or emulsion is additionally heated due to high cutting speeds, evaporation occurs. Oil smoke or emulsion mist is produced. Emissions and the heavy metals they contain are inhaled - they are deposited on machines and work surfaces.

Separators are applied in all facilities where lightweight fluids accrue in order to filter the waste water. These refer to different oils such as for example mineral oils or motor oils. These oils are not allowed to be released into the sewage system without prior filtration treatment. Therefore so called oil separators and coalescence seperators are used. These seperate such impurities from the waste water and only leave the water and sludge get into the sewage system.

Further examples for separators are other oil separators, water separators, wet scrubbers, oil mist separators, gas separators or sludge separators.

In the picture a separator for filtration can be seen. These consist in principle of a filter head with regeneration equitment, filter elements, dust collection chamber, dust discharge, case, intermediate floor and possibly particular extra components such as for example an discharge device or dedusting control system.
