The family-owned company KNOLL supplies manufacturers and users of machine tools worldwide with conveying, filtering and pumping systems. All industries in which machine tools turn, mill, drill or grind use KNOLL products - for example mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle construction as well as the aerospace industry and energy technology. Another business unit solves demanding logistics tasks with innovative assembly and transport systems.
With over 1,000 employees, KNOLL is the largest company in the Upper Swabian town of Bad Saulgau. Walter Knoll founded the company in a 200 m² hall in 1970. It has been growing constantly on its own premises since 1974. In the beginning, the built-up area was 900 m², in 2015 it's already covering more than 54,000 m². Due to a high vertical range of manufacture, the added value remains within the company. DrM, Dr. Mueller AG was founded in 1982 by Dr. Hans Mueller (1913-1984), a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. It is the legacy of this brilliant industrial entrepreneur and creative inventor, whose influence lives on in the chemical process industry. His boundless ingenuity was reflected in more than four hundred inventions for which patents were granted during his academic and industrial career. Several of these revolutionized chemical processes in numerous countries.
DrM is still privately owned and managed by highly skilled technical and creative professionals. Our primary goal is to find and develop solid-liquid separation solutions that help us live in a cleaner environment while creating significant financial benefits for our customers.
