Submersible chemical pumps are ideally suited for pumping aggressive fluids such as solvents, acids and alkalis. These pumps can be made of plastic (plastic pumps) or ceramic (ceramic pumps) due to their chemical resistance. With this pump technology, the design is based on a centrifugal pump. Furthermore, this pump technology differs as a submersible pump in which the complete pump with drive is immersed in the medium. Another design would be the submersible pump. Here not the pump drive but only the pump shaft and the pump foot are immersed in the pumped medium.
