Reconditioning
Ball and roller bearings with outside diameters from 200 mm to 1200 mm are valuable assets. Reconditioning of these bearings restores them to full working order while saving you up to 60% of the cost of a new bearing. Moreover, delivery periods are reduced considerably to 1 to 6 weeks. We are also happy to recondition bearings from other manufacturers.
Cost effectiveness criteria – reconditioning pays off with:

• high-price rolling bearings
• rolling bearings with short service lives
• rolling bearings that in the past were routinely replaced when machines or plants were overhauled
• rolling bearings in which minor or medium damage has developed

Process of reconditioning

• findings:The bearings are checked for visible damage and signs of corrosion. It is estimated which components (rolling elements, cages, rings) must be replaced or reworked. In addition, recommendations for future operations are given.
• Inspection of the components: All parts are measured with high precision with 3D coordinate measuring machines . An additional crack detection is offered if required.
• reworking/reproduction: Usable parts are regrinded and refined with precision machines. Missing components are remanufactured according to the tolerance and internal clearance requirements.
• Control/Assembly: All bearing parts are checked according to the valid, certified quality guidelines. After completion of the warehouse, further checks are carried out and the final packaging is carried out. Afterwards, agreed analysis protocols are handed over;
