In different and specialized production units located throughout Italy, we produce round wires, square wires, special profiles, flat wires, bars, strips, coils, and galvanic treatments.

1) Wire Drawing Unit
Production of: Drawn Wire, Heat Treatments, Hot Tin Plating
Diameters producible from 0.08 mm (smaller diameters can be produced upon request)
Materials: copper, brass or bronze (other metals upon request)

2) First Rolling Unit
Manufacturable cross-sections up to 10 sq. mm
Production of: Slats, ribbons, wires with square or rectangular cross-section, special and custom profiles

Packaging in coils, skeins, spools.
3) Second Rolling and Drawing Unit.
Manufacturable sections from 8 sq. mm.
Production of: Slats, round wires, wires with square or rectangular cross-sections, special and custom profiles
Thin thicknesses from 0.03 mm
Heat treatments and hot surface treatments
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel (other metals upon customer request)

4) Coil cutting units (slitters)
Coils, strips, flats and strips
Thin thicknesses starting from 0.03 millimeters

5) Units for Galvanic Treatments
Reel-to-reel galvanic treatments on round wires, square wires, special profiles, plates, strips
Minimum thickness 0.05 millimeters
Materials: copper, brass, bronze, carbon steel (other metals upon request)
Treatments are also performed on a contract basis

Karl Sauer founded the company in 1953 in Neunkirchen-Altenseelbach and for many years produced mainly gifts and products for the fine table. As the demands of the customers grew, so did the company and galvanic surface finishing became the mainstay.

We have set up on-site quality inspectors at our major suppliers to monitor quality performance and production status in real time on a daily basis. Our team can be onsite in the factory within 12 hours after an issue has been identified and begin finding a solution.
