The high capacity brush segment machine
BSM 320 produces complete segments
fully automatically. Wire hanks are fed from
racks with up to 16 spools through a new
style cutter into the open and onto the
servo controlled 3-station turntable.
The main advantage of this unique system
is that due to pushing into the open the
wire alignment is further optimised.
Balance testing of each segment with
automatic sorting out of rejects can be
optionally integrated in the downstream
trimming machine STM 320.
Following this the segments can be
transferred to an automatic assembly line
for single and multiple row wheel and cup
brushes, including labelling.
