Chongqing Hengtairail Equipment Co., Ltd. is devoted to designing, researching, developing and manufacturing the products of railway vehicles and formed as a specialized integrator and supplier in railway industry. Main products cover completed parts of the vehicle car, including running gear, coupling devices, interior facilities, electric system, and etc. Especially, Hengtai owned the ability to refurbish and renovate the railway vehicles.

GETA mbH was founded in 1986 by graduate engineer (FH) Robert Buhmann in Wangen im Allgäu. Based on a pronounced spirit of development, a clear focus on solutions and technical expertise, GETA quickly made a name for itself as a qualified manufacturer of interior solutions for rail vehicles.

The joint venture in China, which was successfully concluded in 2006, came to an end in 2020. We actively maintain the resulting contacts and the good relationship with our partners.

In 2014, we expanded our headquarters in Wangen by around 3,000 m2. One year later, in 2015, the subsidiary GETA Rus was founded in Moscow. In 2019 and 2021, we took the opportunity to expand our site in Wangen by a further 5,000 m2 in total.

Today, GETA is one of the market leaders. Over 130 employees at the headquarters in Wangen alone do everything they can to always find the optimal solution for our customers.
