Description

In addition to the all-round coupling RATO S, the highly flexible RATO R coupling has been specially developed for use in drive systems with the demand for high torsional flexibility and good misalignment characteristics. During the design phase, great importance was attached to thermal safety and good dynamic running characteristics with the lowest possible rotating masses. The applications are thus primarily in high-speed main and auxiliary drives - whether diesel or electric. In the torque ranges that allow handling and installation of closed elements, the RATO R coupling offers an additional alternative. This is mainly possible for small to medium sizes.
